Like the 300, shes sort of a gangster car, in a very roundabout way. You'd certainly feel safe should you decide to plant one wheel on the sidewalk and begin moxing down as many pedestrians as you could find. If you tried that in a vw up, then your windsheield would almost certainly smash, and you wouldn't even have the torque nor the clearance to ram the mangled bodies through the wheel wells. In the land cruiser, you have no such problem. I've always been the sort of driver who wants to shift up at 2000 revs, and if any car is built for that, it's this one. Her completley unstressed five litre v8 that puts out enough torque that you could shift up at 1100 revs should you choose. I like to take her off roading sometimes. Off-roading is a strange thing to do unless you have to. You'll always be able to go more places more easily with your own two feet. Usually when you have equipment for something it like,,, helps you, but not in this case. It's like horseracing if horses went as slow as snails.
